Turnaround Consultant Institute to Develop Programs
Over the next few quarters, the Turnaround Consultant Institute hopes to develop programs and seminars for practitioners. We know there are other organizations out there, but we aim to provide hands-on advice and help to the turnaround consultant working in the field. The other organizations serving this profession are more interested in the big banks and financiers that provide distressed company financing.
With our Institute, we hope to provide:
- The turnaround consultant with the best practices in the field
- The turnaround consultant with group insurance including both health and professional
- The turnaround consultant with online forums for help with specific problems
- The turnaround consultant with an annual meeting for education and fellowship
All of this is just starting. We have much work to do including marketing the organization, incorporating the organization and deciding how it will run. Like good consultants, we are first creating our plan with direction from prominent practitioners. Then, we will carry out the start-up plan with vigor. We expect the Institute to become a viable entity in 6 to 12 months.
Kevin Muir of Turnaround Central is leading the development of this website and the organization overall. Mr. Muir wrote the turnaround consultant handbook, “The Insider Secrets to Saving Your Business: The Step-by-Step Turnaround Guide.”
